Three-Peat at the Pete

On Saturday, March 3rd, the Girls Basketball team faced off against East Allegheny for the WPIAL Championship Game at the Petersen Events Center. The Lady Crusaders came into the game after defeating Mohawk in the Semi-Finals.
The girls trailed for the majority of the game but were able to pull out the win in the fourth quarter. With 4:18 left in the fourth quarter, Kasey Kaczorowski made a 3-pointer to give them the lead. They managed to hold on to that lead for the remainder of the game to win their third-straight WPIAL Championship!
After the exciting WPIAL Championship Game, the Lady Crusaders have qualified for the PIAA State Championships. Their first opponent will be Central Cambria, the fifth place team from District 6. The game will be played at Peters Township High School on March 9th at 5:00 PM.
