Events for Prospective Students

Shadow Days

The best way to imagine yourself as a Crusader is to schedule a Shadow Day at Bishop Canevin. Shadow students in grades 8-11 participate in classes, interact with BC students and teachers, and sample a Crusader lunch!  Shadow Days are tailored to meet the academic interests and talents of the prospective student. Registration is required.

All shadow days have been filled for the 22-23 school year. Shadow days will reopen in October of 2023.

Summer Camps

Bishop Canevin offers multiple summer camp options for prospective Crusaders! Camps can range from athletic to artistic and educational based activities. We take pride in the detailed experience provided to your children during each summer camp. Go Crusaders!

Grade School Nights

Grade School Nights are a wonderful way for prospective students to experience the school spirit of Bishop Canevin High School. Bishop Canevin’s community is often referred to as “Crusader Nation”. Crusader Nation is always supportive at our school events – whether it’s a basketball game, the Spring Musical, or Open House! You will always feel the warm community aspect of Bishop Canevin High School.

Open House

Bishop Canevin opens its doors for prospective families with students in grades 5-11 to meet with faculty, staff, students and parents. Experience first-hand how our students develop academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

Open House events for the 23-24 school year will be posted in the summer/early-fall.

Showcase

Open to prospective families with students in grades 5-11.
The BC Showcase is more than an Open House. Parents and students will be warmly greeted with true BC fanfare and be escorted from station to station for hands-on experiences, classroom demonstrations, coaching tips and an opportunity to see how they can develop academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. We can’t wait to see you there!

Open House events for the 23-24 school year will be posted in the summer/early-fall.

Fall Fest

The Annual Bishop Canevin Fall Fest is one of our most popular events. We encourage  prospective students to spend the night with us and experience a community-wide event. The Fall Fest includes food trucks, tailgate games, a Haunted Hallway, knocker-ball, pumpkin painting, bake sale, and hayrides.
