Our annual yard signs promoting our October 13th Open House are in and we need your help! Stop by the front office at some point today or next week and pick up your sign/signs and put them in a location most convenient for you! This will give our families, and prospective families, about a month to look forward to our Open House. Thank you so much for your help!

We are excited to announce that the Crusader Journal has returned! This is thanks to some extremely dedicated and wonderful supporters of our school. The Crusader Journal is a monthly e-newsletter that will keep you informed about everything happening at BC. Sophomore Renee LaGrosse was notified this summer that her short prose vignettes entitled "Lost Souls" was chosen for publication in the 2019 Ralph Munn Creative Writing Anthology. The contest, which is sponsored by the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, is open to all high school students in Grades 9-12 in Allegheny County. It is an opportunity for teens to showcase their writing talents, improve skills, and have their work published. Renee was the only student chosen from the Diocese of Pittsburgh to be published.
The Carson Scholars Fund recently honored exceptional students in Pittsburgh-area schools at an awards banquet at Heinz Field. Many of the students, who received $1,000 scholarships, are from Catholic schools in the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
