The Crusaders scored 3 unanswered goals between the middle of the second and third period. Goals were scored by Chadd Lounder, Gus Peponidis and Ross Langford. The Victory boosted Canevin Past Latrobe in the standings which gives them a first place finish in the Class AA standings going into the playoffs with a 16-1-1 season record. Home ice advantage will be awarded to the crusaders throughout the whole playoffs. The first playoff game will be played Wednesday or Thursday of next week when they take on the 8th seed at the Mt. Lebanon rec center. Please come support the team in their quest to Console.

SWIMMING
This is the results of the first day of the WPIAL swimming championships. For the TV announcements and blog. The WPIAL Swimming Championships started off with a bang. Danielle Pekular finished tied for 3rd in the 50 Freestyle 24.85, assuring her a third trip to the state championships. The good news is her best event is today. This is even more impressive when you consider that she is our only lady swimmer at the meet and after the first day she has
scored more points than 49 teams at the meet. The gentlemen were also well represented with all five gentlemen swimming lifetime best swims. The 200 Medley Relay of Brad Davis, Colin Gilson, Marty Scanlon and Colin Scanlon took 22nd place. Marty Scanlon took 21st place in the 200 Freestyle. The 200 Free Relay of Brad Davis, Colin Scanlon, Eric Cleis and Colin Gilson took 28th place. We are looking forward to an even better day today as our best events are in todays meet.
