Ring of Honor


Nominations must be recived by JANUARY 31, 2013 for consideration.

 

Bishop Canevin High School Distinguished Alumni are inducted into our Ring of Honor for their significant accomplishments in business or professional life or for distinguished human service to their school, community, state, or nation.

The Ring of Honor also recognizes Bishop Canevin's Distinguished Educators. These individuals are current and/or former Bishop Canevin teachers for significant accomplishments in serving the needs of students and/or families and best exemplifies the school's mission.

All inductees are presented with the Bishop Canevin "Ring of Honor" upon induction into this elite group.

DISTINGUISHED AWARD NOMINATION PROCESS AND CRITERIA

Alumni are invited to submit nominations for the award. Included with the individual's name should be a brief resume of the nominee and the reasons why he/she should be considered for the award. All nominations must be signed. BC has been blessed with many alumni and teachers who live out Jesus' call to service and compassion to benefit those in our school, community or world. We are certain that many are deserving of this distinguished recognition.

Distinguished Educator Award Criteria:

1. Recipient should be one who has taught at BC for a minimum of five years.
2. Recipient should exemplify the Gospel values in his/her life and work.
3. Recipient should be an actively practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church.
4. Recipient should be one who has provided exemplary service in his/her life and/or profession that reflects BC's core values, served the needs of students and/or families.
5. The award may be given posthumously.

Distinguished Alumni Award Criteria:

1. Recipient should be one who has attended BC for a minimum of two years and a graduate in good standing.
2. Recipient should exemplify the Gospel values in his/her life and work.
3. Recipient should be an actively practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church.
4. Recipient should be one who has provided exemplary service in his/her life and/or profession that reflects BC's core values.
5. Recipient should be one who has accomplished outstanding achievements in his/her personal and/or professional life.
6. The award may be given posthumously.
