Transportation
According to PA Act 372, a student is eligible for subsidized transportation if his/her permanent address is more than two, and no more than ten, miles from school; the school district in which he/she resides must also provide transportation to their own schools. Subsidy may be in the form of either providing a school bus or via public transportation (PAT).
The following districts currently provide transporation - Avonworth, Bethel Park, Canon McMillan, Carlynton, Chartiers Valley, Cornell, Keystone Oaks, Montour, Moon, Pittsburgh Public, Shaler, South Fayette, Sto-Rox, Upper St. Clair, West Allegheny.
